Roadmap Update — The Plutonians Journey Continues
Greetings, Plutonians! It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly two months since we launched our Public Alpha build in March. We’ve been delighted with the response so far, and the team has been in full-steam-ahead mode, working to achieve our upcoming roadmap goals. Today, we’re thrilled to share some of our exciting upcoming plans for the rest of the year. Strap in and let’s dive right in!
Major Alpha Patch
It’s right around the corner! If you though the Alpha was awesome in March, just you wait! We’d post the patch notes here, but we’d hit the character limit.
Plutonians Warp Worlds
Plutonians Warp Worlds is the next evolution of the Plutonians metaverse — a vibrant web-based overworld where players can spend and earn their tokens and win NFT prizes! It will be a hub for all sorts of mini-games, events, and activities that will help you to immerse deeper into the Plutonians metaverse. We’ll share more details about the exciting games and events we have planned in a future post, but rest assured that there will be plenty of content and token use-cases.
NFT Launch
Next on the docket is the launch of Plutonians NFTs. We will be minting our spaceship and ship component NFTs on Solana. This means that players will soon be able to own, trade, and customize their ships with unique NFT camos, weapons and components. As we’ve mentioned before, these NFTs are not just cosmetic, but will also add unique capabilities and enhancements to your ships, adding another layer of strategy and personalization to your Plutonians experience.
Ship Configurator
Following the NFT Mint/Launch, we will be launching the web-based Ship Configurator. This is an online portal powered by Solana where players can outfit their spaceships with their NFTs, including camos, weapons, engines, and more. This tool will allow you to visualize and customize your ship in real-time, adding a tangible, hands-on aspect to the ownership and customization of your NFT assets. We can’t wait to see the unique and creative combinations you all come up with!
Plutonians Game Jam
In the spirit of collaboration and community, the Plutonians team will be hosting our very own Game Jam later this year. This will be a chance for developers and enthusiasts to come together and create new experiences within the Plutonians metaverse. There will be a prize pool for the top submissions, so start brainstorming your ideas now!
Unreal NFT Integration
One of our most anticipated roadmap items is the integration of our NFTs into the Unreal Engine game. This will allow players to fly their customized ships in all their glory, and to truly own a piece of the Plutonians metaverse. We believe that the integration of blockchain technology with high-quality gaming experiences is the future of gaming, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of this revolution.
Unreal Game Beta
Last but not least, we will be launching the Beta version of the Unreal game. This will include more levels, advanced features, and player missions. We’ll be taking all the feedback from the Alpha build to make the Beta even better. So keep those comments and suggestions coming!
